Andrew Miller is the deputy director for policy at the Project on Middle East Democracy and a nonresident scholar at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. He previously served as the director for Egypt and Israeli military issues at the National Security Council from 2014 to 2017 and in a variety of roles at the U.S. Department of State.
